Opening Ceremony and Choral Concert

The Opening Ceremony and Choral Concert will be held Wednesday evening, August 3, at 7:30 at the First United Methodist Church in Portland.

We will take Portland’s Light Rail “Max” from the Double Tree Hotel to First United Methodist. Here is a map showing the “Max” lines from the Double Tree Hotel:

 

Folk Picnic at Alderbrook Park

Rahvapidu, the West Coast Estonian Days Folk Picnic, will be held Thursday, August 4th, 2011 at Alderbrook Park. Please join us for a wonderful afternoon of sun, food, and play. Busses will be provided from the Doubletree Hotel to shuttle everyone to the park.

Alderbrook Park, the ultimate in country beauty, is situated in the heart of Clark County and incorporates the beauty of the idyllic countryside with the advantage of being so close to Portland! This estate’s lush landscape, sumptuous lake and beautiful  pool open to the masterfully-designed playing field that is the hallmark of this remarkable private park.
